In order to propose a cultural offer to the largest number, it is important to consider the diversity and the needs of all the publics, notably disabled people. Then, Revel's Wood and Marquetry museum adapted to different types of impairments such as physical, sensorial or mental handicaps.
The access to our collections and exhibitions is free for disabled people and the persons accompanying them. Guiding tours and adapted activities can be offered to answer as well as we can to the different expectations of the visitors and the group leaders.
People with reduced mobility
Parking : There is an area on the city hall in front of the museum. It is also possible to drop off at the entrance of the museum.

Visit conditions : the 3 levels of the museum are accessible. The most part of the rooms are single-storey or linked with lift platforms (possible help of the staff)

The museum is not actually equipped
The museum also offers to the visually disabled public sensorial activities and tactile visits. Facilitating the mobility through the different rooms, it enables a discovery with fingertips and invites the visitor to take a particular “look” on the pieces of art. Mental or phsychic handicap
The available means for this type of handicap targets groups coming from hospitals or specilized institutions. The museum offers thematic visits, guiding tours and activities adapted to adults and children in its continous collections and temporary exhibitions.
